Who we are

Sportitechture provides advisory services and an online network for practitioners, organisations and technology providers in high-performance sport. In this policy, “we” and “us” refer to Sportitechture. If you have any question about how we handle your information, contact us at privacy@sportitechture.com.

Information we collect

When you apply for membership we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, organisation, role, professional disciplines, years of experience, links to your professional profiles, and anything you write in your application.

If you sign in using Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We never receive your Google password.

We also collect basic technical information automatically, such as the date you joined, when you last signed in, and standard server logs.

How we use it

We use your information to review your membership application, operate your account, keep the network secure, and contact you about your membership.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

The practitioner directory

Appearing in our public practitioner directory is entirely optional and switched off by default. Nothing about you is published unless you turn listing on yourself from your account page, and you can turn it off again at any time.

Where your data is held

Member accounts and profile information are stored using Supabase, and the site is hosted by Vercel. Both providers may process data outside your country under standard contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep your account information for as long as you hold an account with us. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your profile and directory listing, retaining only what we are legally required to keep.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your information at any time. Most of it you can edit yourself from your account page. For anything else - including deleting your account entirely - email privacy@sportitechture.com and we will act on your request.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to processing, request a copy of your data, or complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to keep the site secure. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell members directly where the change is significant.
